My Story

In 2021, at the age of 57, I found myself with tremendous pain in my knees due to (old age) and inflammation. Walking became almost unbearable. In the beginning (like most of us), I ignored the pain with the hope that it would go away, . . . it didn’t.

I started using off-the-shelf remedies, with only limited success. Then one day, my wife Kelly, found a CBD cream at a local art festival and gave it to me to try. To my surprise, it worked much better than anything else I had tried. The inspiration hit me. I realized that if I could make award-winning beer and wine at home, (in 2009, I was recognized as the Georgia Homebrewer of The Year) I knew I could also make my own CBD pain remedies. A new journey began.

I spent the next two years educated myself on the entire process of how CBD was produced and its many healing benefits. After gaining an in-depth understanding, I created 4 different topical formulas with varying amounts of each ingredient to achieve the greatest results. There are thousands of essential oil and/or CBD products on the market to treat pain, so you might ask; how could I possibly make a product that was better than those already available?  Well, . . . I had an advantage that the others did not have!

Being a Shriner (yes, the guys with the funny red hats that raise money for Shriners Hospitals for Children all over the world) I had access to an unlimited supply of old men (many with spouses) who had bad knees, tight shoulders, sore muscles, and creaky bones. All of them with pain and inflammation were very willing to take part in my diabolical experiment and give me feedback. After many different versions, with varying combinations of both CBD and essential oils were tested, CBD Freedom was born!

Although the right combination of organic essential oils is very important in treating pain, it’s the larger volume of pure CBD contained in CBD Freedom products that provide the best pain relief compared to other products on the market.
